Render and set plasterer wanted in Derry City and Strabane

Great opportunity: we are hiring a render and set plasterer in Derry City and Strabane, Northern Ireland. You will be based in an occupied house during renovation. You will polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets. What we are looking for: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
