Finish carpenter • Yagba West, Kogi State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a finish carpenter in Yagba West, Kogi State. Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists Day-to-day duties: • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
