Vertical transportation technician • Clay County, Minnesota

Immediate opening: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Clay County, Minnesota. The job is in a machine room on the rooftop. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Your main tasks: • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts 4+ years on the tools preferred.
