Scaffold fitter — Cumberland County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a scaffold fitter in Cumberland County, Maine. You will work at a commercial fit-out project. Requirements: • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms On the job you will handle: • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors Full-time with occasional weekends.
