We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Knox County, Ohio. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium The role involves weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
