Escalator technician — Merthyr Tydfil County Borough

Immediate opening: we are hiring an escalator technician in Merthyr Tydfil County Borough, Wales. On the job you will handle: • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators Requirements: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer £1,800 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
