Vacancy available: milling machinist (North Carolina)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a milling machinist in Greene County, North Carolina. You will work at a busy machine shop. On a typical shift you will measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control. Requirements: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
