Gtaw welder wanted in Cheyenne County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Cheyenne County, Nebraska. On a typical shift you will read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
