Aluminium tig welder — Franklin County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Franklin County, Illinois. You should have: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height On a typical shift you will read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
