Tailor machinist — Putnam County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Putnam County, Indiana. The role involves change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $26 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
