Join our team: we are hiring a tyre and wheel fitter in Greene County, Tennessee. The job is in a commercial truck tyre depot. Requirements: • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage • Comfortable working outdoors and in all weathers Day-to-day duties: • Keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres • Handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly • Inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills • Rotate tyres front-to-rear as per the service schedule At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
