Pipe tig welder — Erie County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Erie County, Pennsylvania. On a typical shift you will weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
