Gas pipe fitter — Sullivan County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Sullivan County, New York. You will be based on commercial and industrial sites. Day to day you will test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Driving licence for travel between sites On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
