We are recruiting: we are hiring a tile fixer in Roane County, Tennessee. The job is on a commercial fit-out project. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation The role involves grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge; check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away; cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter; screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency. 4+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
