We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Columbus County, North Carolina. You will be based in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. You should have: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection On the job you will handle: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut 3+ years on the tools preferred.
