Metal caster wanted in Van Buren County

Now hiring: we are hiring a metal caster in Van Buren County, Iowa. Day-to-day duties: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
