Concrete finisher • Surry County, Virginia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Surry County, Virginia. The job is on a road and bridge project. On the job you will handle: • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms You should have: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds Six days a week, one day off.
