Gas commissioning technician wanted in Boyd County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Boyd County, Nebraska. You will work at a heating and plumbing contractor. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Day-to-day duties: • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply Full-time with occasional weekends.
