We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Forsyth County, North Carolina. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Your main tasks: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Rotating shifts.
