We are recruiting: we are hiring a construction mazdoor in Allamakee County, Iowa. Ideal candidate: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times The role involves set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days.
