Vacancy available: metal caster (Wisconsin)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a metal caster in Kenosha County, Wisconsin. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. Your main tasks: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand Requirements: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Basic grinding and fettling skills At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
