Cake decorator wanted in Winnebago County

Join our team: we are hiring a cake decorator in Winnebago County, Iowa. You will be based at a cake shop. Requirements: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving On the job you will handle: • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
