Vacancy available: we are hiring an ironing operator in Pulaski County, Illinois. The job is in a tailoring workshop. On the job you will handle: • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases We offer $4,000 per month plus benefits.
