Gantry crane operator wanted in Rockingham County

Join our team: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Rockingham County, North Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Day-to-day duties: • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger Full-time with occasional weekends.
