Finishing presser — Kaufman County

Join our team: we are hiring a finishing presser in Kaufman County, Texas. You will work in a garment export house. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work You will check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
