Great opportunity: plant operator (Indiana)

Join our team: we are hiring a plant operator in Morgan County, Indiana. You will be based in an open-cast mine. Your main tasks: • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely Ideal candidate: • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures Rotating shifts. Pay around $4,250 per project, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
