Immediate opening: we are hiring a milling machinist in Tillamook County, Oregon. The role involves: • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
