Now hiring: we are hiring a stores assistant in Walker County, Alabama. The role involves: • Pick orders from racking using a handheld scanner and pick list • Weigh and measure parcels for courier collection • Assemble customer orders for dispatch and stage them at the loading bay • Carry out cycle counts and full stock takes • Load and unload lorries and containers by hand or with a pallet truck • Put away stock into racking locations following FIFO What we are looking for: • Reliable timekeeping and good attendance • Confident using handheld scanners and a WMS • Good numeracy for stock counts and order checking At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
