Steel fixing chargehand wanted in Delaware County

Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Delaware County, Iowa. Your main tasks: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length Requirements: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $2,700 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
