Fire and safety officer wanted in Summers County

Now hiring: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Summers County, West Virginia. You will work at a busy construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot 6+ years on the tools preferred.
