Lift maintenance fitter wanted in Renfrewshire

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Renfrewshire, Scotland. You will be based in a residential tower block. Requirements: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Day to day you will measure rope tension and check for broken strands; run load and overload tests with test weights; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around £2,300 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
