Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Gokana, Rivers State. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Your main tasks: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
