Crane rigger wanted in Richland County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane rigger in Richland County, Illinois. You will work in a steel fabrication yard. The role involves: • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads You should have: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear 3+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $180 per day plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
