Lift erector • Ijero, Ekiti State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift erector in Ijero, Ekiti State. What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards The role involves set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
