Urgent requirement: we are hiring a construction labourer in Cape May County, New Jersey. The job is on a metro and infrastructure project. Ideal candidate: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions Day to day you will bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
