Immediate opening: scaffolding supervisor (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a scaffolding supervisor in City of Hampton, Virginia. The job is on a bridge maintenance job. The role involves: • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level You should have: • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $130 per day, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
