Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Okfuskee County, Oklahoma. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols On the job you will handle: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
