Bar bender and fixer • Franklin County, Ohio

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Franklin County, Ohio. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Day to day you will install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
