Overhead (EOT) crane operator wanted in City of Alexandria

Now hiring: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in City of Alexandria, Virginia. You will work in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. The role involves fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins. What we are looking for: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Current medical and eyesight certificate Part-time with flexible hours.
