Great opportunity: we are hiring a commis chef in Shasta County, California. You should have: • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies The role involves chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations.
