Immediate opening: we are hiring a marble cutter in Linn County, Kansas. The job is at a marble and granite workshop. Day to day you will restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish; grout the joints and wipe off the excess before it sets; level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat; cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site; shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels; seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers. What we are looking for: • Reliable timekeeping and able to work in a team • Own hand tools an advantage • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience.
