Reinforcement steel fixer wanted in Moultrie County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Moultrie County, Illinois. You will work on a busy residential building site. What we are looking for: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Day-to-day duties: • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
