Wood machinist • Madison County, Iowa

We are recruiting: we are hiring a wood machinist in Madison County, Iowa. You will work on a busy construction site. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists Day-to-day duties: • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
