Concrete finisher — Edwards County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Edwards County, Illinois. The job is on a road and bridge project. You will float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works Part-time with flexible hours.
