Spray painter (automotive) — Carroll County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a spray painter (automotive) in Carroll County, Missouri. You will be based in an automotive paint and panel workshop. You should have: • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Able to read and match factory paint codes On a typical shift you will wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. We offer $140 per day plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
