Cnc production machinist — Manchester

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Manchester, England. Day-to-day duties: • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet Requirements: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
