Vacancy available: we are hiring a finishing presser in Sumter County, Georgia. Your main tasks: • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board You should have: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings 5+ years on the tools preferred. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
