Urgent requirement: GTAW welder (Virginia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Isle of Wight County, Virginia. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to pass a weld test on the spot On a typical shift you will strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
