Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Adair County, Oklahoma. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination On a typical shift you will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal.
