Urgent requirement: we are hiring a collision repair technician in Wexford County, Michigan. You will work at a commercial fleet workshop. Ideal candidate: • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage The role involves: • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
